Beccar Varela advised Acon Timber on the execution of a term facility agreement with Nederlandse Financierings-Maatschappij voor Ontwikkelingslanden N.V. (FMO), the Dutch entrepreneurial development bank, for the granting of financing in an aggregate principal amount of up to US$30,000,000.
Acon Timber is a company engaged in the forestry and timber industry in Argentina, with operations encompassing silviculture, sawmilling, wood processing, transformation and commercialization, as well as the production of wood pellets and biomass-based power generation for the supply of its industrial operations. The company is part of the HS Timber Group.
The proceeds of the financing will be used to strengthen and expand Acon Timber’s production capacity and support the growth of its operations.
