As a response to its clients´ needs, the firm decided to strengthen its already strong Labour, Employment and Social Security practice group. As a result, David Eugenio Puente Tostado joined the firm as partner in the firm’s office in the city of Monterrey.
David has more than twenty years of experience advising domestic and foreign clients on labour, immigration, and social security matters deriving from investments, set up, day-to-day operations and activities, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate restructurings. He has extensive experience in collective negotiations in general but specifically in the electricity and automotive industries, individual and collective litigation, and that involving credits issued by social security institutions. Up until 2020, David was the president of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico (CANCHAM), Monterrey Chapter.
He has been recognized by the most important international legal rankings such as Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal, among others.
