Asters is the only Ukrainian law firm which has been shortlisted for the prestigious Legal Week's British Legal Awards 2016 in the category "European Law Firm of the Year". Asters is among eight leading European law firms in the running for this honorable prize alongside with Cuatrecasas Goncalves Pereira, Garrigues, Kinstellar, Magnusson, Mourant Ozannes, Noerr and Uria Menendez.

The judging process is carried by an independent judging panel made up of senior business lawyers from major corporations, banks and the public sector on the basis of such criteria as legal expertise and innovation, strategic vision, business winning, client care, employee development, financial performance and commitment to CSR.
The winners of The British Legal Awards will be announced on 24 November 2016 at Finsbury Square, London.
