Arzinger was a part of an international team of lawyers from the US, the UK and the Netherlands who assisted the client in a dispute under English law in the Dutch courts. The client suffered from the russian blockade of Ukrainian ports – the client's goods were stuck on the ship and could not leave the Ukrainian port.
In this case, Arzinger's team ensured extensive evidence collection in Ukraine, secured reports from reputable experts in very specific fields, and provided advice on the various issues of Ukrainian law.
The dispute worth tens of millions of US dollars was settled for the benefit of the client.
