Anne Marie Sejersted joins Wiersholm as a partner on the firm's IPR/TMT team.
Sejersted has extensive experience in intellectual property law and specialist expertise in patents, trademarks, design, copyright and market law. She comes to Wiersholm from the law firm Kvale, where she was a partner for five years. Before that, Sejersted was a total of 19 years in the law firm Haavind, including Vislie, Ødegaard & Kolrud who were involved in the merger that once formed Haavind. She has the right to appear before the Supreme Court.

Sejersted is one of Norway’s foremost IPR lawyers, particularly recognised for her expertise in patent litigation and work for companies in, among other things, the pharmaceutical sector, the offshore/maritime sector and in industrial design. She also assists a number of other types of businesses with ongoing management and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including research and development work. She has previously been a lawyer at NRK, and also has experience with cases in the cultural sector.

Anne Marie Sejersted’s father, Nils J. Sejersted, was also one of the partners from three different companies that in 1990 merged and founded today’s Wiersholm. He was a partner in Wiersholm until 2005.
