March 5, 2019 - Anna Zvereva has joined Dentons’ Russian Tax and Customs practice as an of counsel.

Anna was head of tax advising at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, she worked as an of counsel at Dentons, from 2007 to 2016.

Anna focuses on tax advising for industrial enterprises, trade organizations and companies specializing in intellectual property, as well as international groups (VAT, profit tax including tax accounting issues, payroll taxes, regional and local taxes and the application of double tax treaties). She handles projects involving the tax aspects of restructuring business in the Russian Federation; tax advice on all types of deals, including deals for sale and purchase of a business; Tax Due Diligence; drafting proposals to amend tax laws; and advising on accounting in accordance with Russian accounting standards.

Anna has been named a leading specialist in tax law in Russia by such publications as Best Lawyers 2019, Tax Controversy Leaders 2018, Indirect Tax Leaders 2018, Women in Tax Leaders 2018 and others.
