Hong Kong, 31 October 2017: Global legal services organisation Ally Law will implement a series of fresh marketing initiatives in Asia Pacific, delegates to last week’s Regional Meeting in Perth agreed.

Enhancing international awareness and exposure is seen as crucial as the group evolves from a referral network into a multi-faceted body that can provide cross-border solutions to clients’ international legal and business challenges.

“A significant portion of this year’s Regional Meeting was devoted to marketing with some lively discussion about how we can take Ally Law forward,” said Boase Cohen & Collins Senior Partner Colin Cohen, a past President of the organisation.

“Our executive officers will now go back to their headquarters in Minneapolis with a mandate to draw up firm proposals for the next steps. As well, there was a clear appreciation that Ally Law needs to continue expansion by recruiting new member firms, especially in key Asia Pacific jurisdictions.”

The Regional Meeting was held at the Pan Pacific Perth hotel. After a cocktail reception and welcome dinner on Wednesday evening, discussions and presentations took place throughout Thursday. Mr Cohen attended together with Boase Cohen & Collins Marketing Consultant Niall Donnelly.

BC&C is Hong Kong’s sole representative in Ally Law, which comprises more than 60 independent law firms in over 40 jurisdictions.
