Estudio Echecopar, member of Baker & McKenzie International, advised Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros S.A. and Banco Santander Perú S.A., as structuring agents, in a financing for up to USD 40 million granted by Banco de Crédito del Perú and Banco Santander S.A. to Administradora Jockey Plaza Shopping Center S.A. ("Jockey Plaza"), intended for the reprofiling of debt and other corporate uses.
The financing is backed by a guarantee trust that includes certain real estate owned by Jockey Plaza which, through a framework contract of guarantees, also supports the obligations of Jockey Plaza derived from the issues made under its corporate bond program.
The team that advised Credicorp and Santander was led by Alonso Miranda, Luis Ernesto Marín and Ana Paula Saavedra.
Administradora Jockey Plaza Shopping Center S.A. is a real estate company focused on the development, administration and operation of shopping centers. Currently, the company manages the Jockey Plaza Shopping Center and the Boulevard Asia Shopping Center (the same one that is located in the most exclusive residential beach area of the city of Lima), the latter through its subsidiary Inversiones Castelar SAC, the which it acquired in October 2019.
