Abogabir Miranda represented a leading company in the distribution of chemical substances in a lawsuit for more than USD $1,250,000.
Santiago de Chile, March 2022.- Abogabir Miranda, through Nicolás Miranda Larraguibel and Diego Abogabir Egaña, advised a Chilean company, a leader in the commercialization of chemicals and fertilizers for agriculture with a national and international presence, in a contractual dispute.
The Chilean company was sued by the largest company in the world for the transport and storage of chemical products, which in turn was sued in a counterclaim in a conflict that exceeded USD 1,250,000.
The conflict was related to a contract for the storage of a chemical that was imported for the first time in special conditions to Chile to optimize the Chilean agricultural fertilization market.
Advice from Abogabir Miranda meant a favorable end to the conflict, expressly acknowledging that there was no responsibility of the Chilean subsidiary.
