Marc Müller and Kateřina Trzaska of bpv BRAUN PARTNERS celebrated a win in a patent dispute before the Regional Court in Düsseldorf, representing a Czech company against the claimant Hörmann, a German manufacturer. The claimant argued that our client was infringing on one of its patents concerning the printing and folding of individual garage panels.
The regional court agreed with our arguments and confirmed that the Czech manufacturer uses a different process for its garage doors than that for which Hörmann has a European patent.
bpv BRAUN PARTNERS was joined in the dispute by the German firm BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT representing the other party.
