The work of the firm is wide ranging and varied. Being a small firm, we pride ourselves in offering a personal, bespoke service to our clients. The success that we achieve in our cases is based on years of experience and expertise in criminal and regulatory law. We only work with the best professionals and experts and we focus on action in order to conclude proceedings as effectively as possible minimising any negative reputational damage.

Our clients range from young people with Special Educational Needs to professional and high net worth individuals. The focus of the approach to the case is very much directed by the clients needs.

Types of work undertaken

Serious and general crime: we act for clients under investigation for the full range of criminal offences. The majority of the work is pre-charge which ensures a swift outcome to investigations and proceedings. We act for people at the police station, the Magistrates’ Court, Crown Court and Court of Appeal.

Corporate and financial crime: we advise companies, directors and individuals in matters involving financial crime, a number of which have a cross jurisdictional element. We advise clients under investigation regarding money laundering and proceeds of crime offences, including cash seizure/forfeiture, civil recovery, confiscation, freezing orders, receivership and restraint.

Local Authority investigations: we act for individuals and/or companies in investigations and associated prosecutions such as breaching building regulations, health and safety regulations, environmental and licensing regulations.

Private prosecutions: we advise both individuals and companies wishing to institute proceedings in the criminal courts for the full range of criminal offences, in both the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

Regulatory proceedings: we act for individuals facing professional disciplinary action brought by bodies such as the Bar Council of England and Wales, the General Medical Council, General Dental Council, Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.
