About the firm:

The firm was founded by three partners who started their shared professional history in a French business litigation boutique before creating the white-collar crime department of the Paris office of an international firm.

Félix de Belloy:

Félix de Belloy was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2002. Elected first secretary of the Conférence du stage in 2004, he is today one of France’s leading criminal defense lawyers. He is also the Founder of the school sponsorship NGO Proxité and chairman of the NGO l’Ilot, supporting the reinsertion of former inmates,


Ralph Moughanie:

Co-founder of Belloy & Associés, Ralph Moughanie defends French and foreign clients in criminal and commercial cases. Having graduated from the Universities of Berkeley and Paris I Panthéon – Sorbonne, he has distinguished himself in defence of political figures and executives in international corruption cases. He regularly assists clients facing charges in proceedings opened jointly by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) and the French Parquet National Financier (PNF).


Laureen Masson:

Co-founder of Belloy & Associés, Laureen Masson focuses her practice on white-collar crime, general criminal law, and human rights defence. Having graduated from the universities of Toulouse and Maastricht, she handles complex corporate and international criminal law cases and also assists her clients with regulatory disputes (regulatory authorities, ACPR and AMF).

White collar crime and Criminal and civil defence of decision-makers:

The firm daily defends economic or public decision-makers implicated in criminal cases and also assists them with civil liability issues. Well known for its “strong courtroom presence” , the firm’s primary objective remains to obtain the dismissal of criminal or civil proceedings at the earliest possible stage. Belloy & Associé is accustomed to defending high-profile individuals and seeks to prevent any publicity surrounding its clients’ involvement, intervening publicly only when necessary.


Defending companies in business litigation:

In particular, the firm defends corporate entities against criminal liability in financial matters or for involuntary offences. The firm also acts in commercial disputes between co-contracting companies or shareholders. It has particular experience in unfair competition, shareholders' agreements and post-acquisition disputes.


Defending human rights and fundamental freedoms:

Belloy & Associés acts on behalf of companies and NGOs in cases involving human rights and civil liberties issues. The firm is regularly asked to assess human rights violation risks for companies operating in France and abroad. It is also involved in legal proceedings relating to these infringements.
