Dr. Stefan Schramm is a banking and finance lawyer based in Frankfurt.

Stefan has extensive experience in banking, in particular structured finance transactions. With nearly 20 years' experience Stefan acts for lenders (banks as well as debt funds), (special) servicers, private equity investors, sponsors and borrowers on the origination, syndication, securitization and restructuring of national and cross-border corporate (including acquisition), real estate, project and asset financings. He is also frequently advising on related loan portfolio transactions (including non-performing loans and their related workout).

Prior to joining the Frankfurt practice in 2021, Stefan was Partner in another leading international law firm in Germany. During his career he has been seconded to the operational desk of a leading international investment bank in London and worked for a leading international business consulting firm in Hamburg and New York.
