Andrew is an expert in construction law with an equal devotion to disputes and non-contentious work. He heads the firm’s growing construction team acting for developers, property owners, contractors, subcontractors and consultants in a variety of transactions and disputes ranging in value from tens of thousands to tens of millions of pounds.

He has a broad and deep experience in contractual disputes with niche interest in the termination of contractual relationships and repudiatory breach. He has been involved in adjudications since the process was first established and boasts an enviable “batting average” in this field.

He is fully conversant with the intricacies of standard form contracts in particular JCT and NEC3/NEC4.

Career

Andrew trained at Kirk Jackson where he qualified in 1990. After a long career at that firm he worked at Pannone LLP and other regional firms before settling at JMW in 2018 joining as a fixed share equity partner.
