Firm Overview:
With offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore, Ince is one of the earliest international law firms setting up presence in Asia over 40 years ago. In 2019, the firm has seen significant expansion of its service offerings, with lateral hires and addition of a team of lawyers in its Hong Kong office. A market leader in the shipping and maritime industry for over 150 years, the multi-disciplinary practice now covers a range of major practice areas including banking and finance, capital markets, corporate/M&A, construction, dispute resolution, energy and infrastructure (LNG/FSRU/FPSO), international trade, insurance, real estate. Its Singapore office offers integrated English and Singapore law advice through a formal law alliance with Incisive Law LLC, which enables it to advocate cases for clients in Singapore courts and domestic arbitrations. The office recently launched its China practice which represents Chinese companies doing business in Singapore as well as local and international companies with operations and activities in China across a wide range of transactions and matters. Ince has a dedicated team of lawyers servicing clients in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and ASEAN jurisdictions, together with a network of law firms in jurisdictions where Ince does not practise local law.
