YPOG's Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice has become one of the leading addresses in the entire DACH region in recent years. According to a number of rankings, YPOG has been the most active firm in the entire DACH region in terms of the number of transactions in 2020 and 2021 (YTD). However, the firm has also clearly established itself in the upper segment in terms of quality and regularly advises major national and international top investors such as AllianzX, Atomico, DTCP, Headline, Hillhouse, Lightspeed Ventures or Siemens/Next47. The strategy of expanding the PE practice is coming to fruition: in addition to regular clients such as BPE and Project A Ventures - the latter of which the firm regularly advises on co-investments with private equity investors - the firm has recently acted as advisor for funds such as Rhein Invest and KKA Partners, and regularly supports management teams in transactions.
