The SRS M&A team comprises a diverse group of lawyers with extensive international and domestic Portuguese experience whether acting for international clients effecting acquisitions in Portugal or Lusophone countries, or acting for Portuguese clients effecting acquisitions in Portugal and internationally. The team has been involved in M&A transactions of every nature, from mergers, acquisitions and de-mergers to privatizations and restructurings.

Our sectorial focus and integrated approach to work allows knowledge and expertise to be shared across the team for the benefit of our clients.

Our team has experience advising on M&A transactions of every size and complexity, and in recent years has been particularly active not only in the context of strategics but also in the context of Private Equity, Startups and Venture Capital.

The lawyers in the team also have extensive experience in the context of acquisition finance and corporate finance generally, as well as advising on relevant security packages for transactions.
