We advise clients throughout all the regulatory process of incorporating domestic insurance carriers as well as in M&A transactions representing international insurers and reinsurers, with a strong regulatory and transactional-M&A insight. 

 We closely and dynamically work with client’s in-house counsel in Mexico and abroad for the compliance of the corporate-governance rules in effect in Mexico, pursuant to the adoption of the principles of the Solvency II directive. In addition, our breadth-of-experience allow us to render our clients with more specialized services in insurance matters such as (i) assessment of the suitability of investments to meet solvency-capital requirements; (ii) assisting foreign carriers to obtain regulatory authorization to offer their coverage for risks outside Mexico pursuant to the special regime in effect; (iii) assisting insurance carriers and retailers implementing extended warranty programs; (iv) rendering of regulatory-required legal opinions; (v) enrollment of reinsurers, and its renewal, in the registry held by the Mexican insurance regulator, just to mention some.
