Our FinTech team is comprised of specialists from our Banking & Finance and Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory practices, combining an unrivalled spread of work types, deal values and geographies in a Scottish market context. Our Banking & Finance team is one of the most active in Scotland, having acted on over 2,500 new transactions in the last 3 years with an aggregate deal value of in excess of £6 billion, a significant number of which are for FinTech alterative lenders. The Corporate, Commercial and Regulatory team at Harper Macleod is recognised as one of the most prominent deal-making teams in Scotland.

Tony leads our Scotland-wide Banking & Finance practice which has worked on more than 2,500 transactions in the last 3 years, in excess of 20% of which relate to the alternative funder market, many of which are FinTech lenders. Tony has a huge amount of experience with 20 plus years acting for both lenders and borrowers, he has become lead contact for many FinTech lenders as they have expanded into Scotland assisting in putting together suites of standard documentation, lending and security processes, advising on market practice and leading on many deals for such lenders as they have become a larger part of the Scottish market.
