Gide has a leading team of around 20 lawyers, including 6 partners. It advises its clients on a variety of issues, with specific expertise in corporate and transactional taxation, in both domestic and cross-border transactions.

Our tax team advises on a broad range of matters, with specific expertise on corporate taxation and most notably in the context of French domestic and cross-border transactions, including:

-         M&A

-         private equity

-         restructuring/reorganizations

-         investment funds

-         real estate transactions

The team works closely alongside the firm’s M&A and real-estate lawyers, and on tax litigations, working in tandem with the firm’s lawyers specialising in criminal law and public law.

We have a remarkable relationship with the French tax authorities and in this respect the team is frequently involved in discussions with the latter regarding the drafting of tax laws and/or administrative guidelines.
