About

Provided by DMH Stallard LLP

DMH Stallard’s regional corporate group advise public and private companies and other organisations on the full range of corporate transactions, structure and governance. Our clients range from directors of larger companies, managers of investment funds, those running complex capital market projects, AIM or smaller quoted companies, through to family businesses and professional practices.

We have completed a number of EOT deals in the last year, the largest of which being for Principle Cleaning Services. We have also completed several clearances for overseas buyers under the NSIA. Trade buyers have been more active than Private Equity over the last year, evidenced by CGR SAS acquiring John Binns Springs and Naked Foods’ sale to Meadow Foods, among others. Many of these buyers plan to acquire again.

We advise businesses across a diverse range of sectors but have a particularly strong reputation in the healthcare, technology, publishing and media, manufacturing and travel sector.

Strong sectors included:

  • Building materials: including MS Roofing’s sale to IBMG.
  • Professional services: a series of insurance broking deals, the sale of Competent Adviser to Fintel plc, and angel investment in fast growing BAD group.
  • Healthcare: a US acquirer in the medi-tech field, a health and social care provider acquiring a home care franchise, and Makara Health acquired by a US buyer.
