Diego Joaquim & Advogados (DJA) provides its clients legal support in all customs, tax and international trade relations - involving the importing and exporting of goods, as well as the rendering of services between different countries. Putting into practice the customs policies and laws defined by the countries involved, we act in various spheres, from defense in relation to seized cargo to the prevention and audit of customs fines. Our location in Campinas is strategic in such sense, as it is close to the main airports of São Paulo State (Viracopos and Guarulhos), and close to Santos, where the largest Latin America port is located.

Our founding partner Diego Joaquim has 17 years of experience in the customs and international trade areas, having worked since the beginning of his career in law firms and consultancy firms specialized in such matters in Santos and São Paulo. DJA work helps companies to reduce deadlines and costs in customs operations, to prevent sanctions and penalties by the Federal Revenue Service, to manage possible risks and to ensure competitiveness and results, including all tax matters.

Our firm acts in emergency and long-term situations, and our service is personal, with active participation of senior professionals, namely our partner, of counsel and coordinator. Our services cover all litigation and consultancy issues related to customs and international trade, and all tax and compliance issues related to such areas.
