Dentons’ Capital Markets team in Paris assists and advises counterparties, issuers, arrangers, dealers, lead managers or investment managers on a full range of capital markets transactions, including:

  • Derivatives: The team is one of the very few in Paris with two recognized  in the Derivatives area, partner Julien Bacus and counsel Charles Tissier. They focus on derivative transactions covering different types of underlying assets as well as advising on questions relating to netting, EMIR, the role of clearing houses, stock lending, repo, prime brokerage and collateral management documentation
  • Securitization: Partner Pascal Jouannic and the team regularly advise arrangers, originators, FCT management companies, FCT Custodians and rating agencies on transactions involving a wide variety of asset classes and structures, sale and synthetic securitizations, CLOs, CDOs. We also advise factoring companies regarding large factoring transactions in large cross-border off-balance sheet transactions
  • Debt Capital Markets: The team advises on public and private debt securities issuance, structured or unstructured stand-alone issues, public offers, EMTN, Euro PP, US PP, high-yield bonds, NEU CP & NEU MTN, Green Bonds, hybrid instruments
  • Capital Markets Taxation: With Senior Counsel Siamak Mostafavi, the team covers the tax aspects of various transactions on securities, derivatives, asset finance, capital markets, transfer of portfolio of securities and derivatives
