Lawyers in our Project/Energy practice group form a cross-disciplinary team of specialists in corporate – M&A, project finance / PPP, public law, as well as in commercial contracts and litigation. Our firm also offer a full capacity for energy and regulated industrial activities.
They regularly act on behalf of large corporations in the energy sector, lenders, investment funds and project developers in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
As regard Energy, the team is regularly involved in several projects related to:
• solar farms
• wind farms (onshore or offshore)
• biomass plants
• geothermal heat
• transport and storage of natural gas
• transport and distribution of electricity
Renewable energy financing is a very large part of the Project/Energy activity of the Energy & Project finance team since 2012. This activity is led by Jean-Renaud Cazali, partner.
Our Project/Energy team is also very active in infrastructure sectors, in addition to its energy related activities.
Also, the team is not only experienced in the electricity sector, but also in the gas sector, and regularly advises infrastructure operators and other market players. She has also a good knowledge of nuclear energy, and of oil and mining resources.
