Arzinger protected the client's rights in a dispute with Naftogaz of Ukraine
The Kyiv Court of Appeal has confirmed the illegality of Naftogaz of Ukraine's actions to suspend the employment relationship with a former employee.
Arzinger's team successfully defended the client's labor rights by proving that her employer had violated her labor rights. The lawsuit was filed in June 2022, and its complexity was due to the employer's application of the provisions of the new Law of Ukraine "On the Organisation of Labour Relations under Martial Law", which came into force only on 15 March 2022.
The court practice in such disputes is still in its infancy, and it is pleasant to note that Arzinger's attorneys have been involved in this process.
