Paul Van Hooghten

Career

With more than 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions in Belgium and New York, Paul Van Hooghten advises multinational companies, Belgian and international private equity houses and financial institutions on international and domestic M&A, corporate law and corporate restructurings, joint ventures, private equity, takeover bids, and corporate governance. Paul is the author of several publications on corporate and commercial law, including The European Takeover Directive and Its Implementation published by Oxford University Press. He is a regular speaker at conferences and a guest lecturer at the University of Brussels.
