Charlotte is a partner and co-leader of Dentons Kensington Swan's Intellectual Property team. Renowned for her commercial IP expertise, Charlotte assists businesses identify, protect and commercialise their IP, and resolve IP disputes. She also regularly advises on advertising and marketing materials, including social media initiatives.

With over 20 years' experience in IP protection and enforcement, Charlotte is trusted by Government entities, large multinationals and NZ companies to advise on a range of issues, including trade marks, copyright, domain names, designs and plant variety rights. Charlotte has years of experience in resolving IP disputes in a way that addresses her client’s commercial needs, in advising on opposition and non-use proceedings, as well as domain name disputes. She advises on licensing and commercialisation arrangements, and IP structuring arrangements for businesses with valuable IP assets. She regularly advises on IP audits, and transfers of intangible assets as part of business transactions. She is also one of the few lawyers in NZ with extensive expertise in plant variety rights protection and enforcement.
