Practice Areas

Lucas focuses on the regulation of international trade and other economic activities, intellectual property and international business, as well as on the resolution of disputes thereunder.

He also participated in important projects relating to international trade matters, in areas such as trade remedies, procurement, technical barriers to trade and negotiations of international trade and investment agreements.

Career

In 2006 Lucas worked for the Brazilian Diplomatic Mission to the WTO in Geneva and to the General Litigation Department of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. In 2012 and 2013, he worked as an associate attorney at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LL.P in London.
