Barteld focuses primarily on European and Belgian public law, with a high degree of specialisation in the domain of public law, environmental and zoning law, public-private partnerships and administrative law litigation.

Barteld has been a partner at the firm since 2014. He has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1994.
