Practice Areas
Partner and English-qualified solicitor in our corporate department now based in our London office. Since 2003 Sebastian has been primarily focused on CEE and CIS (an incredibly wide-ranging practice covering more than 30 jurisdictions) and co-headed our practice in the region for over 10 years. Sebastian knows the region extremely well in terms of both legal and cultural issues, which is highly appreciated by clients. His experience includes advising clients on the aspects of a wide range of major cross-border corporate transactions and some of CEE/CIS leading equity offerings and privatisations.
Career
Sebastian has been a partner at Freshfields since 2009. He formerly served as a member of the firm’s Partnership Council. Sebastian is currently on a 2-year secondment during which time he is working exclusively on pro bono projects to support the reconstruction of the Ukrainian economy.
