Partner; represents lead arrangers and agents in syndicated loan transactions, including acquisition financings and multicurrency facilities with cross-border lending arrangements. Her finance practice ranges from middle-market club deals to multibillion-dollar widely-syndicated credit facilities, which involve borrowers ranging from large family-owned enterprises to publicly held companies. The financings she is involved with span a wide-array of industries, such as food and agribusiness, manufacturing, retail, technology and construction. Ms. Chaffin is experienced in structuring complex transactions involving collateral of many types, including monetized contract rights, government contracts, capital campaign pledge receipts and off-shore collateral. Ms. Chaffin also regularly represents lenders and borrowers in tax-exempt financings, as well as trustees in tax-exempt and corporate bond transactions.
