Career

For well over a decade, Patrick Baldwin has counseled and advised public and private strategic and emerging growth companies and sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with their significant transactions, with a focus on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and equity investment transactions. He has helped clients structure, navigate, and complete buy- and sell-side mergers, acquisitions, carveouts, de-SPAC (special-purpose acquisition companies) business combinations, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, venture capital and later-stage equity financings, and private investment in public equity (PIPE) investments.

Patrick understands the needs of and has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including retail, traditional and digital media, chemicals, energy and utilities, building products, pharmaceuticals and medical device, real estate investment, transportation and logistics, software, fintech, robotics, and other technology. Patrick's practice also includes advising clients on general corporate governance issues and negotiating key customer, supplier, and vendor contracts.
