Joseph Profaizer is a partner in Paul Hastings' Washington DC office and the Global Co-Chair of the firm’s International Arbitration Practice. His practice focuses exclusively on international commercial dispute resolution, including commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration, political risk and trade credit insurance arbitration, and international commercial litigation. He has served as counsel in arbitrations or litigation in over 50 countries and in over 100 arbitrations under the ICC, AAA/ICDR, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, ICSID, CIETAC, CEPANI, JAMS, and UNCITRAL arbitration rules. He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center since 2013. He also sits as arbitrator.
