Career
Partner at Emerenciano & Baggio, Gustavo focuses his practice on several areas, such as corporate law, contracts, M&As, corporate risk prevention and compliance. He also leads and supports the Environmental Law Advisory team. With more than 16 years of experience, Gustavo has extensive knowledge and effective practice in complex transactions and cases of different natures, representing clients in several investment and divestment projects, business structuring, real estate developments, implementation of industrial plants and M&As. He has experience in buying and selling equity interests, forming strategic alliances and joint ventures, structuring succession planning for family groups. He has also led or supervised the preparation and negotiation of various types of contracts, the reorganization of companies, due diligence of audits, implementation of compliance programs and audits, and investigation of corporate fraud. In the area of contractual and corporate law, Gustavo actively advised clients on strategic projects.

He holds a bachelor´s degree in Law with specialization in Business Law from Faculdade de Campinas (FACAMP), is a specialist in Corporate Law from FGV/SP and holds an MBA in Financial, Corporate and Compliance Management from FIPE/SP.
