Career
Chris Martinez is an attorney in the Trial group. His practice is focused in the areas of commercial litigation, direct sales and multi-level marketing, products liability defense, and health care litigation. He also has significant experience litigating non-competition agreements and contractual disputes between owners and executives of corporate entities. He has successfully represented clients in disputes involving trade secrets, shareholder derivative claims, partnership disputes, and real property litigation. Chris has advised and represented direct sales companies in disputes related to their products, employees, and distributor compliance and termination. Chris’ products liability experience includes defending claims of wrongful death and personal injury due to defective design, manufacturing defects, and/or inadequate warnings. He has represented manufacturers and suppliers of pharmaceuticals, automobiles, off-road recreational vehicles, and consumer appliances in all stages of litigation.
