Bruno Almeida has significant track-record in civil and commercial litigation, corporate and contract law, M&A, restructuring, labour, foreign investment and tax law.

He regularly advises national and international companies in major real estate projects and commercial transactions, with an extensive cross-border practice, as well as in public procurement procedures for the operation of landmark infrastructures.

He is a member of the Supervisory Board of Macau Gaming Concessionaire SJM Resorts, S.A.

He is also licensed to practice as Private Notary in Macau.

- Assisting the majority shareholder of a Portuguese real estate company in handling a dispute with the Municipality of Lisbon on the charge of municipal fees over the allotment and licensing of real estate projects in an area of Lisbon that is under a special urban development plan.

- Assisting two Macau major companies in the negotiation with the Macau Government of the settlement of land exchange promises.

- Assisting a Macau major holdings company, being the shareholder of a public services subconcessionaire at the Macau International Airport, in preparing and implementing the re-financing and equity re-structuring plan of the subconcessionaire.

- Advising three major technological conglomerates in all legal matters related to compliance with private data protection, financial services and labour and employment laws and regulations.

- Assisting a major US based gaming supplier in the context of patent infringement litigation in Macau.

- Assisting a Macau holdings company and its Portuguese subsidiaries in the extension and re-negotiation of a long standing umbrella agreement with the Municipality of Lisbon for the development of a major area of the City.

- Advising on the possibility and process for the conversion of the premises of a landmark casino-hotel into the strata title framework.
