Boris co-heads the Freshfields International Arbitration Group. He is recognised as a leading international arbitration practitioner in Germany and Europe. He appears as counsel in commercial arbitrations concerning long-term supply agreements, M&A transactions, IP rights and energy and infrastructure projects. Boris further represents governments and commercial entities in arbitration proceedings under investment treaties. He also sits as arbitrator and represents clients in cross-border, international litigation matters, including in the English High court and German courts.

Boris advises clients in relation to human rights and leads the German Business and Human Rights Practice.

Career

Boris joined Freshfields in 1997; partner since 2010.
