Julio Lavín Valdés | Partner

Founding partner of Lavín Abogados & Consultores, he heads the Environmental Law, Maritime Concessions and Projects departments, providing legal advice focused on the environmental assessment and compliance of projects, the processing of maritime concessions and sectoral permits, as well as their defence. He serves as an arbitrator for the Arbitration and Mediation Centre of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce and teaches various postgraduate courses on environmental issues. Throughout his career, he has specialised in constitutional, environmental and health law and project development, serving in the Chilean Navy and later as a partner in various law firms.

Rodrigo Lavín de Tezanos Pinto | Partner

Founding partner of Lavín Abogados & Consultores, he heads the Tax Law, Corporate Law and Tax/Accounting Consulting departments, focusing on tax management and planning projects, administrative and judicial defence proceedings for taxpayers, as well as corporate management, participating in acquisitions and mergers. Gonzalo Lavín de Tezanos Pinto | Senior Associate

He is part of the Environment, Maritime Concessions, and Projects department at Lavín Abogados & Consultores, where he is responsible for defining strategies and processing maritime concessions for port, power generation, green hydrogen, and desalination projects, among others. He heads the Mining, Energy and Permits department at Lavín Abogados & Consultores, where he is responsible for designing and defining permit strategies, permit risk analysis, environmental assessments, environmental compliance, mining contracts of all kinds, the establishment and defence of mining property rights, and mining and energy concessions and easements. Throughout his career, he has specialised in environmental and mining law and infrastructure project development, working as an in-house lawyer for various mining companies and as an associate lawyer in law firms.

José Miguel Olivares Padilla | Business and Corporate Law Director

In charge of the Corporate and Business Law area, he provides legal services for the organisation and development of internal company relations, supporting their governing and management bodies, dealing with external commercial issues that concern them, as well as other relations with third parties and the respective authorities. In addition, he has worked as a solicitor in inheritance matters and as a member of the boards of directors of private and state-owned companies.
