Banking & Financial Services: The firm advises local and international banks and finance institutions on secured lending including the drafting of loan and security documents and the sale of loan portfolios. It also advises lenders on their enforcement options.

Corporate & Commercial: The firm has advised on a range of mergers, acquisitions, buy-outs and other corporate transactions in recent years. It also has considerable experience in shareholder agreements, joint ventures and commercial contracts generally.

Property & Planning: The firm has an established a strong reputation in this area acting for Irish and UK based investors, developers, housing associations and national retail outlets. It has extensive experience in the full range of property services including commercial property development; investment acquisitions and disposals; landlord and tenant; planning and environmental law.

Employment: The firm provides specialist advice on all aspects of employment and anti-discrimination law and human resources issues to the public sector, public and private companies and other commercial enterprises.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution: The firm covers the full range of commercial litigation; arbitration and mediation work including debt recovery and insolvency; product liability; construction; procurement; professional negligence; defamation; divorce and insurance. It also has considerable experience in judicial review.

Insolvency: The firm provides specialist insolvency advice to banks, companies and individuals. One of the firm’s lawyers is a licensed insolvency practitioner who advises administrators, liquidators and receivers.

Private Client: The firm is recognised for providing high quality, specialist advice on wills, estate planning, trusts, administration of estates and matters involving the Office of Care and Protection. The firm also advises on contentious matters in this area.

Matrimonial: The firm has developed a strong reputation in the areas of divorce and matrimonial settlements.
