■ Swedish business and credit reference agency UC AB and its six Nordic shareholder banks on the combination of UC AB and its Finnish competitor Asiakastieto Group Plc. Deal value EUR 325 million
■ Copart, Inc., a global leader in online vehicle auctions and remarketing services, on the acquisition of Autovahinkokeskus Oy, the leading Finnish salvage vehicle realisation company, from several Finnish insurance companies
■ Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), Allianz Capital Partners and The State Pension Fund of Finland on their acquisition of Elenia Oy and its subsidiaries, and on related financing garrangements. ■ A Northern European full-stack data house Affecto Plc on CGI Group. Inc.’s voluntary recommended approx. EUR 100 million public tender offer for all shares in Affecto Plc.
■ Örum Oy Ab, a leading car spare parts wholesaler in Finland, in a high-profile follow-on cartel damages case. The EUR 66 million damages claim against our client was dismissed entirely in both the District Court and the Court of Appeal. This is the first Finnish cartel damages case to proceed to a final judgment on the merits, which is still relatively rare Europe-wide
■ Fonecta, the biggest B-to-B service provider of digital sales and marketing solutions in Finland, in a cross-border M&A-dispute. The dispute involved arbitration proceedings and court proceedings in several courts as well as interim measures
