Aviation:

Arthur Cox has a depth of expertise in the aviation sector. With specialists drawing on leasing, finance, contract, corporate, competition, tax, environmental and litigation/dispute resolution backgrounds, Arthur Cox is in a strong position to give best legal advice to those doing business in this sector.

Banking & Financial Services:
Arthur Cox has one of Ireland’s largest banking and finance practices. The firm advises a wide range of international banks and financial services companies on restructuring, funds, derivatives, insurance, project and asset finance (including public private partnership), secured, unsecured, senior, mezzanine and subordinated lending (both syndicated and bilateral).

Corporate, M&A:
Corporate law and M&A are core activities of Arthur Cox and a large proportion of the firm’s work is cross-border. The firm advises on a wide range of corporate matters including reorganisations and restructurings, joint ventures and private equity.

Corporate Tax:
The firm’s tax group works on an integrated basis with teams in the corporate, finance, litigation and dispute resolution and real estate practices in the firm as well as providing a front-end service where the team takes the lead on advisory or transactional matters.

Competition & Regulated Markets:
The firm’s highly regarded competition and regulated markets group primarily advises on EU and Irish competition law and merger control, as well as other areas of EU law such as the free movement of goods, and on regulatory issues. The group works closely with colleagues in the firm’s corporate department on mergers and acquisitions and with the litigation and dispute resolution group on competition litigation.

FDI:
Arthur Cox’s FDI group is dedicated to advising overseas companies investing in Ireland. The firm’s US offices in New York and Silicon Valley are designed primarily to serve North American clients investing in Ireland. The firm has particular expertise in technology, pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.

Dispute Resolution/Alternative Dispute Resolution:
The litigation and dispute resolution group offers clients advice in both contentious and noncontentious matters. Arthur Cox’s disputes practice has developed an international reputation, particularly in the areas of international arbitration and international commercial disputes.

Project & Infrastructure Finance:
The Arthur Cox projects group is the largest dedicated team of infrastructure and utilities sector experts on the island of Ireland. The team provides a dynamic, comprehensive and client-focused service to those at the forefront of the infrastructure and utilities sectors, acting for local and multi-national corporations, State and commercial State bodies, private developers, contractors, consultants and financiers in many of Ireland’s largest projects.

Insurance & Reinsurance:
Arthur Cox is a leader in the area of insurance law and regulation. In recent years the insurance sector has grown substantially in Ireland and it has become established as a base for a large number of life and non-life insurers offering insurance products in the EU.

Commercial Property:
The commercial property group advises on some of the largest and most innovative commercial property transactions in Ireland. Life Sciences:
