Hospital Finance:
In this field, D+B advises and represents hospital associations in disputes before the arbitration boards (for example: state base rate - LBFW) and hospital operators in complaints against guidelines and decisions by the Federal Joint Committee (GBA).

Law Governing Medical Devices:

Law Governing Medical Practitioners & Dentists:
The SHI-physician/dentist legislation is the law governing outpatient care providers in the SHI system. D+B advises and represents doctors, dentists, psychotherapists and medical care centres throughout their entire professional life, from the purchase of a practice and admission or authorisation for the provision of care under the statutory health insurance system, to their departure, including succession authorisation and sale of the practice.

Pharmaceutical Law:
D+B mainly advises pharmaceutical companies, wholesalers, pharmacies, physicians and clinics. Pharmacy Law:
D+B advises and supports pharmacists when establishing a pharmacy, a pharmaceutical wholesale trade or production organisation, when acquiring main and/or branch pharmacies, in disputes with the regulatory authorities or the Pharmacists’ Association. Approximately 89% of the population in Germany is insured in the statutory health insurance. The rendering of medical services between physically separated participants while using health telematics is considered “telemedicine”.
