DUDLEY NEWMAN FEUERZEIG LLP, a Virgin Islands limited liability partnership, is a general civil practice law firm whose members have diverse backgrounds and are drawn from various regions of the United States. Established by a merger in 2019 of two law firms, Dudley, Topper and Feuerzeig, LLP and Nichols Newman Logan Grey & Lockwood, PC, both established in the 1970’s, the firm is the largest law firm in the U.S. Virgin Islands, currently with 20 attorneys, nine paralegals and related administrative and support staff with offices located on St. Thomas and St. Croix. The firm’s structure is patterned after corporate law firms commonly found in the commercial centers of the United States.

DUDLEY NEWMAN FEUERZEIG LLP is divided primarily into two practice groups – transactional law and litigation. Attorneys within the firm’s transactional law section concentrate in specific areas of commercial law, which include real estate development and management; banking and finance; taxation; estate planning; corporate planning and management; and labor and employment law for management. Attorneys within the firm’s litigation section concentrate in specific areas of commercial litigation primarily associated with the firm’s clients, including banking and foreclosure litigation, commercial and contract disputes; environmental law; personal injury insurance defense litigation; admiralty; bankruptcy; labor and employment litigation; and other specialized areas of litigation in which the firm has expertise.

The firm also handles a wide array of regulatory matters before territorial and federal agencies on behalf of the firm’s clients. And its innovative solutions on behalf of its clients have included drafting legislation or regulations for adoption by the local government when needed to address specific issues.
