BCR Law has one of the only dedicated clinical and professional negligence teams in Jersey. The firm acts for plaintiffs and defendants, government departments and ministers, insurance companies and individuals facing civil, regulatory or disciplinary proceedings.

Commercial Property:
The team provides commercial property advice, including planning advice, to landlords, tenants, property managers and property developers.

Competition:
The team advises businesses and the Channel Islands Competition Regulatory Authority on all issues affecting competition law, be that regarding an investigation, making, or responding to a complaint.

Corporate & Commercial:
BCR Law offers comprehensive corporate and commercial services, including drafting terms and conditions, employment contracts, staff handbooks and policies and procedures, data protection issues and employee take-on and exit, on joint venture agreements, and the provision of legal capacity.

Dispute Resolution:
The team advises and represents individuals, businesses, government departments and ministers, international law firms, and fiduciaries. Its expertise covers civil and commercial disputes, including partnership, corporate, commercial, contractual, and tortious disputes as well as property and planning, personal injury, negligence, and contentious employment matters.

Employment:
The firm has expertise in contentious and non-contentious matters. The team advises across the full spectrum of employment law issues and acts for both employers and employees.

Personal Injury & Insured Risks:
The firm acts for both plaintiffs and defendants, for individuals, insurers, businesses, government departments and ministers, in the most complex and high value cases. The team specialises in catastrophic injury claims, property-related claims, and employer and occupier liability claims.

Property & Planning:
BCR Law has the expertise to assist in contentious and non-contentious planning matters, acting in many of the leading property and planning cases heard in Jersey due to experience in this field.

Trusts & Estates:
The team acts for trustees, protectors and beneficiaries in all aspects of trust law, often working as part of a cross-jurisdictional team in dealing with trust-related matters. The team also advises on the issues which arise for trustees and beneficiaries in the context of divorce.
