In 2013 it was rebranded to ERIC SILWAMBA, JALASI AND LINYAMA Legal Practitioners following the admission to partnership of Joseph Jalasi and Lubinda Linyama. Over the years it has developed to the level of being among the top law firms in Zambia. The firm offers boutique style legal services to its clients. The firm unlike its competitors is able to offer a wide range of services from criminal to civil litigation to corporate and to mergers and acquisitions.

The firm in 2017 was admitted to join the Nextlaw Referral Network which is operated by Dentons, the world’s largest firm by headcount. The Nextlaw Referral Network is a non-exclusive independent network of law firms. The firm is engaged in high level dispute resolution which range from tax, banking and finance, corporate, mining, energy, environmental and criminal litigation.

The firm regularly publishes in conjunction with the International Comparative Legal Guide on mining law, tax law, commercial real estate, arbitration, energy and litigation.

The firm has actively developed practice with respect to legislative drafting. The firm has hired the services of Mrs. Doris K. Mwiinga former Clerk of National Assembly and a Chief Parliament Counsel to lead the growth of this department.

■ The firm successfully defended Stanbic Bank Zambia Limited in a ground breaking Banking Law case and prevented the payment of USD20 million. Mr. Eric S. Silwamba, SC and Mr. Joseph A. Jalasi were the partners involved
