PRINCIPAL AREAS OF WORK

Banking & Finance: Dentons has one of the largest banking practices in the UK and is privileged to be seen as a trusted legal adviser to the majority of banks and financial institutions. The firm’s practice spans all service lines, from general corporate lending to more specialist areas such as lending funds.

Corporate: Dentons’ corporate practice represents and works with clients on the full range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, securities, corporate finance and corporate governance. The firm’s strengths are most evident in cross-border transactional work, including transactions spanning the entire firm, from North America to Europe and the rest of the world, China to the Middle East, Africa to Latin America, Russia to the UK, and many more.

Dispute Resolution: Leveraging core practices at each of Dentons’ legacy firms, Dentons has one of the pre-eminent disputes groups in the world. In the UK, Dentons’ commercial litigation team is particularly well known for its work in energy, construction and engineering, banking, financial services, restructuring and insolvency, and international arbitration.

Energy: This global award-winning team has expertise in transactional, regulatory and litigation matters including electricity, oil and gas, environment and natural resources, project development and finance, and energy trading. The firm’s lawyers handle a wide variety of power generation matters, including those related to renewables, nuclear, natural gas and coal.

Real Estate: Dentons’ lawyers have a deep and wide-ranging understanding of the fundamentals of real estate.
