Sally is head of Leigh Day’s personal injury department, dealing with high value personal injury and fatal accident claims. She specialises in brain, spinal, amputation and fatal accident claims. Cases have included an award equivalent to £9million for an injured pedestrian and £7.8million for a brain injured cyclist, both with complex lifelong care and therapy needs; £5.8million for a pedestrian who sustained brain and psychological injuries; £3million lump sum and annual payments for life of £200,000 for a cyclist who suffered a spinal cord injury; £3.1million for a brain injured passenger in a car who developed post-traumatic epilepsy 3 years post-accident; £2.5million for another cyclist who spent 3 years in private rehabilitation after sustaining a severe brain injury, with annual payments of £160,000 for life; £1.1 million plus annual payments for life for a client who suffered a high level arm amputation, and several multi-million pound fatal accident settlements. She has represented several families in high profile inquests including cyclists killed and injured by left turning HGV’s.
