Mr. Jack Zhanke Li focuses his practice on IP matters, especially the litigations regarding patents, trademarks, know-how, copyrights and un-fair competitions. Jack is also experienced in providing other non-contentious IP legal services, like patent/technology related licensing, transactions and due diligence regarding the IP rights or technology.
Jack has always been representing clients in Beijing IP Court, Shanghai IP Court, the Supreme People's Court and other courts at all levels, and also in the PRB, TRAB, CIETAC and other local IP DR bodies for dealing with disputes of patent, trademark, know-how, copyrights, domain name and unfair competition.
Some cases have been selected as typical annual IP cases in China. The patent infringement case Tsinghua /Nuctech v. Xuchang Ruishi has been selected as the 2018 Top 50 Annual Typical Intellectual Property Case by the Supreme People's Court. A patent invalidation case filed by Mobike has been selected as the 2017 Top 10 PRB Case.
In addition, Jack is experienced in the cross-border IP matters, especially the patent/technology related transaction and licensing works and he has leaded dozens of programs on transaction planning, due diligence, negotiation and agreement drafting. Meanwhile, Jack often helps his clients on establishment of IP protection system and strategy.
