Dr. Kühn's area of practice is corporate law, M&A and international arbitration. He has handled numerous national and international arbitration proceedings as arbitrator or counsel. He acts as chairman in large international arbitration proceedings, such as those related to disputes under foreign investment treaties or international joint ventures (such as UNCITRAL ad hoc, ICC, DIS, SIAC, Copenhagen Arbitration and Vienna Arbitration, etc).

Honorary member of the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) ; Past chairman of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association; 2010 advisor to the IBA Rules of Evidence Subcommittee; Past Member of the ICC International Court Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
