Practice Areas

Mr. Mendenhall is a shareholder and the former chair of Baker Donelson's Real Estate/Finance Group. He concentrates his practice in commercial real estate/lending, general corporate law, business transactions and economic development projects. Mr. Mendenhall regularly represents clients in business acquisitions, commercial lending transactions and insurance regulatory matters and has represented real estate developers, banks and other commercial institutions and public bodies in real estate developments, financings, foreclosures and dispositions.

Career

Licensed in Mississippi since 1984. Mr. Mendenhall served as a member of the Mississippi Secretary of State's Business Law Advisory Group from 1993-2009 and as chair of the Corporate Law Subcommittee from 2005-2007.

Professional Memberships

Mr. Mendenhall is a member of the American, Mississippi and Hinds County Bar Associations and is admitted to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. He served as president of the Business Section of the Mississippi Bar from 2009-2010.

Personal

University of Mississippi, J.D.-1984; B.A., 1980. Served as Vice President/Director of the Mississippi World Trade Center. Serves as an elder at Fondren Presbyterian Church and is a member of the Haiti Network Coordinating Committee and is a board member for Solar Under The Sun.
